Having a good food shopping list ready before heading to the grocery store can really come in handy. This list includes all the best foods to consume during early pregnancy.
Fresh produce has many benefits for you and baby during early pregnancy. Add items such as banana, avocado, & leafy greens.
It's good to have easy pantry staples on hand when nausea & fatigue hit. This includes nut butters, beans, and nuts & seeds.
Grains are a great option for a side dish or alone when nothing else might sound good. Oatmeal has been especially beneficial for replenishing the body during morning sickness.
Meats have many benefits and most importantly are packed with protein. Follow food safety guidelines when purchasing and preparing meats including chicken, beef, and fish.
Two of my favorite dairy products for pregnancy are milk and whole milk greek yogurt. Both provide calcium and promote gut health during pregnancy.
Don't forget to load up on healthy easy snacks! Items such as dried fruit, nuts, and crackers are great for the first trimester and easy on the go options.
Focusing on drinking water and staying hydrated is key. However, adding in ginger tea or coconut water can help with nausea and electrolytes!
